A JONAH 3:1 CHURCH

You will hear us affectionately call ourselves a "Jonah 3:1 church". Jonah 3:1 states; "The Word Of The Lord Came To Jonah A Second Time." Jonah had a charge from God to deliver a message and he dropped the ball big-time; and, in disobedience, he tried to run from his assignment. With a repentant heart, Jonah sought the Lord and was given a second chance, with his original assignment waiting on him. In our humanity we will fall short. However, it is our Father's redemptive nature and goodness that keeps him from throwing us to the side. His love constantly pursues us and as we surrender to Him by receiving the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus, we are able to put on the righteousness of our Savior and rise into our original God-given assignments. Regardless of what has happened in the past and times that you may have "dropped the ball", we encourage total surrender to Jesus and by doing so in faith we say; Welcome to your second chance!
